Dusty Deco Shanghai Apartment
Founded by Edin Kjellvertz and Lina Kjellvertz, the Swedish design brand Dusty Deco has developed a distinctive practice rooted in both creation and curation. Alongside sourcing objects internationally, the brand designs and produces its own collections of furniture, rugs, lighting and decorative objects—each defined by a tactile sensibility and a refined, eclectic aesthetic.
This dual approach is most fully realised in Dusty Deco’s apartment in Mallorca, where the brand’s own designs exist in dialogue with art, antiques and collected works. The result is an interior that moves fluidly between exhibition and home.
With Dusty Deco Shanghai Apartment, this environment is translated into a new context. Presented at GALLERY101, the exhibition unfolds as a fully realised domestic setting. A sequence of spaces—living room, dining area and bedroom—integrates the brand’s furniture, rugs, lighting and objects, interwoven with artworks and vintage elements to form a layered composition.
Visitors are invited to move through the installation as they would a private residence, encountering the collection within a lived context. The exhibition offers an immersive insight into Dusty Deco’s world, where design, collecting and interior architecture converge into a cohesive and personal expression.
